GYC was released much later, but OTF was very huge and dragged from spring into summer.
That, and also On the Floor got released 2-3 months later in the UK than it did everywhere else in the world, but On the Floor was on the Internet since late 2010, so it is still possible The Wanted's producers heard the song before they made Glad You Came. I guess we'll never know.
The real question is where would Call Me Maybe be if it wasn't rereleased? And how high will it peak?

Yeah. And both those songs were popular in the UK at the same time last year. Summer anthems of 2011, but yes, very similar.
Also Stereo Love.

Benzene, Roman Reloaded is fantastic. There are no voices, it's straight-up rapping. It features Lil Wayne. There's no catchy made-for-pop chorus, the 'chorus' is just one or two lines repeated every two-three verses.
It's FIRE. Nothing like Starships. Best song of her career in my opinion.
It's the definition of generic. The lyrics are just...
But the beat is infectious, I can't help but enjoy it.
That smiley fits the song perfectly lmao.
My opinion on Starships was:

She really needs to build up on her urban fan base really quick or there will be problems with the 1st week sales. I understand her "plan" for this era but it might back fire on her. Generic pop doesn't shift albums and nor do songs like Roman Holiday. She needs to make a radio friendly urban song (ex. Moment 4 Life) without the Roman **** to let them start rotating now. **** I wouldn't even care if it got a watered down Wayne feature along to it, but it got to be something.
And look what happened
iTunes will not be here for it 100% though..
Roman Reloaded needs to hit top 10 on itunes only for the fact that it'd be cool to see people be here for two totally different sides of Nicki. Roman Reloaded will surely drop out soon after, because this song isnt made to smash on radios or digitally and this is mixtape material but damn its fire
