another naive statement. There is nothing "for sure" about it. Some women are just not maternal. Some women suffer depression after giving birth. There's all kinds of scenarios.

I'd rather a child be aborted as a foetus than dragged up reluctantly by a mother who didnt really want it but somehow felt obliged to have the baby. Or felt God would be against an abortion. The poor child suffers just as many millions are worldwide. In places like Asia and Africa small children are often just abandoned on roads and left to be found.

Your right, there are often psychological consequences, but those consequences also potentially exists whether she keeps the baby, puts it up for adoption, or aborts it.

I can agree on this. Though I don't think you should talk her down, as a sibling make sure she is informed on all her options and makes a clear decision. Then whether you necessarily agree with her or not, try to support it as best as you can.

Dont wait to long to tell her. My sister waited to get her abortion, did NawT work out well. My nephew was born 2 months later though, so it all turned out for the best!!!

The girl is 19 and probably scared as **** not to mention her ex got someone else pregnant. Are you gonna be carrying some child in your body for 9 months? Are you going to be feeding that baby, paying for its expenses, raising it during your best years? Like are you serious? What kinda selfish immature.....

Okay, I'm not really sure why people are bashing the OP. His concerns are incredibly legitimate. I think it's the sister's choice in the end, but it's really unfair to expect him not to worry when his sister wants to possibly get rid of the baby. You can't blame him for that. In his shoes, I'd do the same thing and most of you would too.
