One thing I am sure of though is, once she has the baby she will not regret her decision at all. It's amazing how quickly you grow attached to a baby. My parents unexpectedly found out they were pregnant, and my Mom briefly thought about getting an abortion. It's sad to think about, but my baby brother is such a blessing and I can't imagine how different my life would be without him. I've made a lot of sacrifices for him, but I don't think I have ever loved someone so much. It's soooo rewarding and worth it.

I'm glad it worked out for you and your family but you have to remember that everyone's situation is different. Unfortunately there are plenty of children in the world that are neglected and abused because they are unwanted or because their mother or father just aren't fit to be a parent.

You shouldn't force her. It should be her decision and her decision alone, as long as she thinks she can live with it years from now. Maybe ask her to give it some more thought but support her if that's what she wants to do. imo
