But she didn't collaborate on not one, but TWO songs with her abuser before this (post-beating). If you didn't stan (and I mean really stan) for Rihanna before this, you wouldn't understand how many of us feel. It's a feeling of betrayal. All of this over some lousy dick and a ****** #1 single. She's losing so much respect as we speak. She will never be taken seriously again. And Christopher WILL assault her again. I love her and want what's best for her, and that's why I'm upset. It's not even so much the fact that she collaborated with him. But they're using this for publicity, and that's just so disgusting and tacky. Where is her self respect? Where is her dignity? Let me put it to you this way: imagine Hilary being beaten to a bloody pulp by Aaron Carter and subsequently getting back together with him and being oh so happy to work with him. Wouldn't
that piss you off, just a little bit?
I don't care whether or not I am viewed as a fake stan for being upset by all of this. I've always supported Rihanna, through thick and through thin. I was always there to defend her when nobody else would. I even proudly sported a Rihanna avatar when she flopped. I love her as a person and as a musician, but this is wrong on so many levels. If people enjoy the new songs, cool. But I don't. I will try my hardest to continue supporting her as a stan, but I am extremely offended right now.
