I didn't discount a damn thing and there is nothing "innovative" about 'Ring the alarm'
don't sit up here trying to "discount" other pop girls music by saying they aren't or haven't done anything musically innovative when your fave hasn't. It's not subjective.
Toxic and Gimme more is innovative
Bad romance is innovative
Several Madonna songs are innovative as well as timeless (i.e. Vogue)
Rhythm Nation by Janet is innovative. I could go on and on but arguing with you will just go in circles I see.
