Starships will stick around longer, and probably have more $$$ thrown at its promo, as it's a proper lead single. POM is just a re-release track.

Even if Katy is the supposed radio queen, Part of Me pales in comparison to Starships. Starships is layered with pop hooks and sounds far more "fresh" than the Teenage Dream retread. Starships is going to smash; it's somewhat generic but it's extremely current and catchy.
