I don't know how old you are, but...

Some of the other members talk about grades, and high school, we talk about jobs and grad school.
They talk about about puppy love, we talk about partners or deep relationships.
They talk about Selena Gomez, we talk about TLC.
It is a different generation. I don't see why you have a problem with it.

What makes you assume all people under 20 you classify as ''they'' talk about Selena Gomez? Or puppy love? There's not that much difference between anyone here, you just think that.

I know you will hate this answer - but you will get it when you actually are over 20. I remember when I was 15 thinking I was all grown up and that there was no difference between me and adults. Now I look back and find it laughable that i actually thought that. I've changed so much since then.

Don't worry, it's not that. I just think a whole new thread is pointless and just a lame excuse to have another clique. I mean you could easily discuss the ''20+''-stuff you people talk about in Random Thoughts, but oh well. It's not that much of a point.

I mean, not specifically about Selena Gomez, of course. That was only an example. I have tried to talk to other posters, and sometimes it does feel awkward, especially when most of the posters are 15 or 14. I am not 20, by the way, maybe that is why I am being so vocal about the matter. Moving on. And this thread is still relevant, thanks for your concern.

I'm sort of in a similar boat in the sense that I work at an office, handling concerns thrown at me. While I wait for those issues, I tend to just browse things online or catch up on homework, since I am taking some courses.

I just want to say that while I acknowledge the generation difference, there are also personal differences. Some people in college/grad school still talk way too much about grades and puppy love and there were a lot of kids in high school who had to start getting jobs at an early age. Oh, and while we may remember the good days of TLC, we can still talk about Selena or let others discover TLC oldies.

I moved out when I was 18, right after graduating high school. I moved to a bigger city and worked as a professional dancer for a year before going to postsecondary school. But I visit my parents a lot. I'm a good son like that.
