Rihanna stans should stop saying "obvious" since it obviously seems to be the one hit from this era so far. Now, thank Calvin Harris she had a big hit.
Oh, girl please. YDO may not have been a huge hit (because WFL overshadowed it), but it still reached the top 20. TTT was only just released, and WHYB, a surefire smash, is still available for release, so let's not act like the album era is void of hit singles. Especially since WFL has been #1 for 10 weeks.
afraid to live, and afraid to die; what a way to exist.
Its like your screaming, and noone can hear. You almost feel ashamed. That someone could be that important that without them you feel like nothing. Noone will ever understand how much it hurts. You feel HOPELESS. Like nothing can save you ...<3
Please stop, it would've flopped if he released it on his own. US radios wouldn't be here for it.
Very true, but I was more referring to how great the song is itself. He did a fantastic job on the production and with the lyrics. The simplicity of them are actually effective. Of course Rihanna sounds amazing on the track and she is its selling point, but Calvin is the backbone of it all. The song is different and it worked. Do you think it would of done well if Calvin released it as his song featuring Rihanna though? I always wonder that.
