Obama is definitely going to win. Nowadays most presidents are reelected. There are plenty of other reasons to criticize Ron Paul other than the homophobic stuff.

Also, random note - I love how Herman Cain gets pushed out of the race because of affair drama -- when Newt freaking left his wife when she was diagnosed with cancer. Why is no one talking about that?!!

Trust me, it will be big if he actually gets the nomination. A lot of these republicans are really far right (not Romney) but then again Obama is REALLY far left.
I am a conservative on economics but a liberal on social issues. I don't agree with republicans on gay marriage but it is hard to find a political party that has 100% of the same views as you.

Sis, Obama is ****ing MODERATE. He would actually be considered on the CONSERVATIVE end of the spectrum in many European countries. Get your uneducated ass outta here and let the grown-ups talk.

Obama is very moderate. There's no way a far left or far right candidate would be elected in today's time. Obama receives so much criticism for not being left enough.

This. I don't really like most Republicans because of their comments on equality (mostly Homosexuality), but it doesn't affect me since I'm straight. Most Democrats are great on social issues, but I can't stand the huge increase in taxes/gas prices that they are for. Obama keeps screwing around with my father's agency, so I really don't want him in presidency for another term.
I have no idea if Mitt Romney is a homophobe, but if he isn't, he is the perfect President IMO.

He is not a Moderate...and actually 75% of Americans agree with me in a USA Today poll of whether Americans think he is too far to the left.
He believes in many liberal philosophy's, his increase of welfare programs and his health care prove that. Don't come at me like that, I have my opinion with 75% of Americans and you have yours.

He doesn't mind gays and said his secretary was gay but says they shouldn't be allowed to marry. Then again I think he is saying that to get through the primaries.

I've tried like 5 different ways of Googling this, and can't find this at all. Would you mind linking me to a source?
If you seriously believe Obama is anywhere NEAR the status of a "socialist," you're insanely uneducated. He's recieved a SHITLOAD of criticism for not being far ENOUGH to the left by democrats and liberals. Your opinion is not based in fact at all.

Here are a few examples of Obama's effective conservatism:
His stimulus bill was half the size that his advisers thought necessary;
He continued Bush’s war and national security policies without change and even retained Bush’s defense secretary;
He put forward a health plan almost identical to those that had been supported by Republicans such as Mitt Romney in the recent past, pointedly rejecting the single-payer option favored by liberals;
He caved to conservative demands that the Bush tax cuts be extended without getting any quid pro quo whatsoever;
And in the past few weeks he has supported deficit reductions that go far beyond those offered by Republicans.

Most Republicans actually don't support this plan actually and its one of the biggest things they hammer Mitt Romney on. Mitt Romney only says it works on a STATE level not a NATIONAL level.

If you have any iPad or any apple product go to their app. (or Android)
My opinion is my opinion on whether is more liberal than me or not. Not yours.
I'm not even a conservative but he is far to the left. He wants to increase taxes on the rich to increase welfare. "Spread the wealth" remember.

Thats exactly what he says and that is a fact.
Go watch a debate or 2. For someone who likes to call someone else uneducated you sure aren't one to talk.
and with that I'm done, I come to ATRL to talk about music not politics.

No, he wants to end the tax cuts that allow the rich to pay less than their fair share.
Better than the lunacy that's "trickle down economics."
Yes, your opinion on whether he is too liberal, or more liberal than you is an opinion. But to say he is "far left" is objectively wrong. Being more liberal than YOU like is not the same thing as being "far left." OBJECTIVELY speaking, he is moderate, and no where near a socialist.
I have the USA today app open on my Android phone right now, still not seeing any polls saying that 75% of Americans think Obama is too far to the left.

Just because he says it doesn't mean it makes sense. He has yet to ever actually explain WHY it could only work on a state level. It's pretty obvious he's only saying that because he's trying to save face.

You mean this article?
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/poll...ticle-1.998466
I don't see anywhere in there that "75% of Americans think Obama is extremely left." They think he's farther left than them, but he's still only at a 2.3, which is between "moderate" and "moderately liberal." His score would have to be a 1 to support your statement that he is "extremely liberal."

If Obama's economics weren't so bad he would have my vote.
Just adding that in before Im off
