Yes, it seems that user (calm_down) is awaiting approval. Only administrators can approve members and there can be a variety of things that administrators consider before approving members. They can log in and do some basic things until they are approved. I'm guessing it's a bug that someone that was not yet approved was able to send you a friend request.

Like, a page that shows all the threads that you have replied too that have had been replied to since your reply.
Kinda like the 'View Your Threads' page, just with threads that you replied to.

I am working on this feature, I expect this feature to be available to all users but ATRL+ users will get to try out the beta, which I am very close to releasing the beta.
