I think he worded it wrong, Brazil is in South America but it is 1 of 12 countries, Rihanna and Lady Gaga are much more famous than her in Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, Peru, Chile and the rest of South America and Latin America (that comprises 34 countries I believe).
