Luthian999 from the KCE (he's one of the charts gurus there) posted this a little while ago:
"In other news, looks like Kelly has bagged her first ever #1 song on the Aussie charts! The sales cycle ends in a few hours, and she was #1 on iTunes for 6 of the 7 days (she was just now overtaken by LMFAO). I don't see how it's possible for her not to be #1."
She did have a massive lead the first 3 days MKIA went #1 and remained #1 until just a few hours ago....

How do they calculate the songs positions in australian chart? is airplay involved too? if it just sales, i'M 99% sure she will get that #1.

but rihanna was on the lead for 4 days there but only debuted at #3, how can we be so sure if she will be number one?

i mean rihanna had a massive lead for 4/6 days on itunes and in the end she only debuted to number 3..but im pretty sure she will be on top 2..

Her spin increases were higher today than yesterday. The bigger stations REALLY need to get on board. These smaller stations can't carry the weight by themselves.
