I have doubt about the word "Racism"

People seem to use to everything.

-I don't like Brazilians/Chinese people.
-You're so racist!

- I hate gay people
-That's so racist.

They use towards nationalities, sexual orientation, etc.

Shouldn't the term only be applied to races, therefore the word RACism?

Or am I seeing all wrong?

Therefore to not like another race because they're that race doesn't make you racist, it's you thinking you're better then them that makes you racist, right?

kinda sorta like Ku Klux Klan with "White Supremacy "

And for people mocking, my native's language not English and I have heard several people using racism in that sense, that's why I was asking.

Racism, Homophobia and Xenophobia are 3 different terms, they are in the same context because is discrimination at the end of everything but people tends to confuse them!

We're not mocking, or at least I wasn't. I was actually asking who would ever reply with that. I've been to many non-English countries and I've never heard someone misuse racism for homophobia.
