What should've been Born this Way's 3rd single?
A tad early, and in a few days this poll will be moot, but out of the 4 songs we have now, which would have been the best follow-up?
While (based on the performances) You and I is the best song, Marry the Night is insanely awesomely catchy. Hair sucks, and Edge of Glory still bores me.

To be honest none of these songs are really doing it for me. Judas is the most instant song she has off this record from the songs I have heard thus far (Born This Way, Marry The Night, Edge Of Glory, Hair). The live version of You and I does nothing for me and neither does the remixed version of Government Hooker.
Thus far:
Judas > Edge Of Glory > Marry The Night > Hair > Born This Way

I wish it would go Marry The Night for 3rd, Edge of Glory for 4th, and my predicted smash (just by the title) would be "Bad Kids" and would be the fifth single. I'm sad this isn't a single because this song slays and the music video would just be a mind**** of epicness.

Marry the Night.
AFTER the second single has been released - which should've been after the album was actually released. 3 singles before the actual album? C'mon, son.

This is one that Lady Gaga got right. She timed the release of The Edge Of Glory perfectly. This song is definitely going to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
So far, the singles from the Born This Way album are mirroring the performance of Diana Ross (1976). The lead singles from each album, Theme From Mahogany and Born This Way, both made it to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The 2nd singles, I Thought It Took a Little Time and Judas, both flopped. It looks like the 3rd singles from each album, Love Hangover and The Edge Of Glory, will spend multiple weeks at #1 on the Hot 100.
If this is a sign of things to come, do not expect the 4th single from Born This Way to reach #1. The 4th (and final) single from Diana Ross (1976), One Love In My Lifetime, peaked at #26 on the Hot 100.

So what if "Judas" underperformed? She should have just kicked up the ALBUM promo, stuck with "The Edge of Glory" and "Hair" as being promo singles, and wait until July to release "Marry the Night". Then continue the era by releasing other songs as singles, POSSIBLY returning to one of the promotional singles for release as official singles.

I don't like how they released The Edge of Glory so quickly just because the promo release was so successful. It was so successful because everyone is excited to hear some new material from GaGa, so any song they deliver out will be successful.

Yup, JUDAS is still her best single off the album.
I think they were to quick to label TEOG as the 3rd single just because it was doing better than Judas on iTunes...now it's also falling.
You and I is her best song off the album, her live performance on that HBO concert special was fantastic!
BTW, Hair, and TEOG are all pretentious IMHO. They don't interest me or whatsoever.

Similarly to Circus, this album has enough songs to make good singles, while the rest is kind of terrible.
The 8 songs leaked today are all in the latter camp and I hope none become singles.
