Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold & SoulSilver - WiFi Event
For those of you with Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver, the Legendary Trio of Johto WiFi event has just begun. This event, originally announced for Europe is available for download with European games as well as American and Australian games allowing for everyone to have it. For this week, the event allows the download of Raikou. This will last until February 13th 2011 so get it while you can. These beasts, when transferred to Pokémon Black & White, allow you to get Zoroark.
Crown Beasts to be available over Wi-Fi
Distribution to begin Feb. 7
The press release detailing the previously reported European release of Pokémon Black and White Versions has revealed that the "Crown Beasts" - shiny versions of the Legendary Beast trio Raikou, Entei and Suicune - will be available over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection throughout February 2011 to all main series Generation IV games. Raikou will be distributed from Feb. 7 to 13, Entei from Feb. 14 to 20, and Suicune from Feb. 21 to 27. Like last year's Pikachu Colored Pichu and Jirachi, these events will be available to those in North America (and elsewhere) who weren't able to participate in the equivalent retail event held in their own country. In addition to English, the Beast trio will be downloadable to owners of French, German, Italian and Spanish-language games.
The Crown Beasts, when transferred to Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version will allow the player to battle and capture a level 25 Zoroark, a Pokémon not available through normal means.
The press release also confirmed that an event for Celebi will be available in the United Kingdom in the near future.

For those of you in the US, don't forget that from today, February 21st 2011, to March 6th 2011 you'll be able to go to Gamestop stores across America and EB Games in Canada and download the Celebi to Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold & SoulSilver. This Celebi has two special features. First, in HeartGold & SoulSilver, you can take it to Ilex Forest where you'll get to time travel and learn some of the Rocket backstory. Then, when you send to Black & White through the Transfer Machine, you'll be able to take it to the GameFreak headquarters in Castelia City and get Zorua.
