Babygirl. BR was a first single from her 2nd album. People didnt have the album when it was available for purchase. But 3 million for telephone +feature is solid. not sayin she cant sell singles.

Probably the highest one-week single sales for the month of March. (Previous holder is Flo Rida with Right Round, 636,000 copies in debut week, which is also the highest ever).

Oh, ****. I don't know why I had March in my mind, probably I confused the dates with Britney's album release. Although "Crack a Bottle" did 418,000 debut week in February. But that was Eminem's comeback single.

Last year, Taylor did 325,000 with TWAF in the first week of February. I think GaGa can definitely pull more than that. Probably 425k.

Gaga's singles sales have slacked off a bit since JD/PF. BR has passed 4.5M after a shaky start and that's great, but she did it with a lot of promo and one of the most watched mvs in recent years.

She was a much more impressive album seller in 2010 than single seller.

Agreed. She also has an extra day of sales. Also if Britney does end up performing at the Grammys hopefully it gives HIAM a nice boost as well.

You don't need to hear it beforehand to predict. HIAM was already getting predictions of 350K+ before we even heard it because it's Britney. It's Gaga, she's expected to do 300K+ even though if it sucks, she won't be doing much more after

I think GaGa should be expected to outsell Britney, because I agree with you in saying she has an advantage (extra days of sales, Grammy performance + airplay has an extra day or two to build).

Ke$ha's about 500k behind GaGa. Neither of them have yet, but they both will. GaGa will have two songs to do it when most of her rivals are still waiting to cross the 5 million mark. Some of them are still waiting for their first 4x platinum single.
