Eminem has some loyal fans because I don't see how he is selling the way he's selling without some non-fans or casual listeners buying his material. Eminem is a selling power. He doesn't necessarily need radio to sell at least Platinum. Sade falls into the same boat.

Again, I don't love Eminem, but I am aware that he has amazing skills on the mic & in the studio. Serious Eminem >>>>> "Playful" Eminem. Recovery is the Eminem that I respect, so I'm respecting & even loving what he has to offer this year.

What makes Eminem special let me know? I just dont see it. He is usually the perosn who is screaming on a track or making a diss record to someone like his mom or Mariah because he stays pressed like no Im not here for that. He has never said anything IMO to catch my attention.

It's based on your discretion. He may not be your cup of tea. I do admit. I think he has fell off musically. He hasn't grown much. But for some reason his fan base has grown over the years.

The bolded part is the Eminem I hate: the immature one that feels the need to diss everyone in the room. Those are in his "playful" songs like WMY, & those songs are tacky & tasteless IMO. I hated Relapse because over half of it was just that.

I don't own Recovery, but based off what I've heard it is the Eminem that can show off his great rhyme & flow without bringing others down. It's his serious side, the one that I respect & admire. NA & LTWYL are two of his best songs in years, up there with Mockingbird & When I'm Gone.
