She was amazing back in 1999, but now she barely has voice. It's all about auto-tune and playback, she doesn't even sing the slow songs live when she's still and no dancing.

As for Britney, the 2008 VMA dress is the only most notable auction for donation. She has also been auctioning off other valuable things, including Circus Tour stuff, to donate. And none of that is cheap.

It would have been great if she performed, as we all already know - there's no other artist who brings in the ratings like Britney does, and she could've raised a lot of money for them. Yet, she's now taking everything easy, spending a lot of time with her kids and Jason, so it was pretty expected that she won't perform. She did make a donation though, which is great.
