Brilliant.

Heath Ledger had me cringing, and biting my nails, which I never do, and that scene where he had Dent point the gun to his head.......

This isn't the best movie of all time, for some motifs simply annoyed me (the constant coin-flipping, Batman's lame voice), but the Joker more than compensated if not, MADE this movie what it was. It might have been the 1st time that I actually rooted for the villain rather than the protagonist.

What a loss...

lmao....I didn't really pay attention to the nipples and such. I loved Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze. That movie was more targeted to our age at that time anyways. I had like all the action figures LMFAO.

I was thinking which villians they will choose for the next film. Batman seriously has the best villians compared to any other superhero.

Here's who they can choose off the top of my head:

The Riddler: I don't think he would be a good pick. He reminds me of The Joker too much.

Catwoman: The embarrasing film of the same name may be too fresh in people's minds. But I think if they brought her back they would cast the right female (Kristen Kreuk?) and besides Bruce is gonna need a new love interest.

Penguin: I'm banking on them choosing him for the next film. It's been a while since we've seen him but I could not fathom who they would choose to cast.

Bane: He would be great to bring back. And I would like to see him as a clever villian and not represented as an unintelligible brunt like in B&R.

Mr. Freeze: It's not the right time.

Poison Ivy: They should hold off on her until the 4th film. But I think Amy Adams would make a great casting choice.

I read somewhere that according to Chris Nolan the villain of the upcoming film may be The Riddler. He also said that the Penguin may be difficult to portray on this real as possible Batman films. While David Goyer, the writer, said that he prefers to use antagonists from the comic that had not yet been portrayed in film.

I like the idea of bringing Harley Quinn in for the next one. She's be like an equally crazy girl from The Joker's past. Someone quirky like Zooey Deschanel could play her.

They could double up with her and The Riddler, it'd work.

They could also bring in the character Vicki Vale to be Batman's new love interest. Melissa George would be my #1 selection to play her.

Saw it today. All I can say is... wow. Best movie I've seen in a LONG time. It took the whole Batman concept to a new level, and the result is simply epic.

I agree with everyone saying Heath's performance defined the movie. I was laughing like an idiot at Joker's "pencil trick". May he rest in peace.
