The song is too basic for Beyonce and is the least interesting one on her album. She should have passed on it too. It fits Katy's whole schtick better though I can't imagine her pulling it off vocally.
^^ Die! why you don't go and stan for someone else? I don't know why I call you to comeback here back in 2011 you are such a damn annoying MESS! and now I get into the point of I CAN'T STAND YOU!
please do us a favor and retire.
Damn it was originally going for Katy and if she wasn't working like a crazy person she would've seen the email and she would've had another #1, sadly the song will not reach it now.
Now it has a much better chance at winning a Grammy.
WAIT at Sia saying she wrote the song with Ammo years ago, yet the credits say:
1. "Pretty Hurts"
That's right! You don't get credited for writing solely the lyrics. Any musician that is involved in any kind of production (whatever vocal or writing a melody) gets a credit among the ''writers''.

No amount of #1s will ever allow Rihanna to truly compete with Beyonce again. She's on another level. eBey dropped her album like a match in a pool of gas and watched as she set everyone on fire.
I really wanted Sia to save this for King Bey. But I love Pretty Hurts too. Rihanna's version would've made me cry though.
Bey would have sounded great on this but Sia KILLED it, I'm glad she sang it herself.
“Oh God,” she cried, bursting into tears. “Legendtina. She’s, just…the inspiration for everything. She’s the reason I wrote ‘Born This Way.’ She exudes the very essence of ARTPOP. She represents the Reverse Warholian Expedition toward youth culture and music, because I live for the applause and the future of technology. The App is on iTunes now and suddenly the burqa is me,” she continued. “Do what you want with my Perez, because Marina Abramovic says he is standing outside my apartment in New York City, love me, love me, please retweet, and #StopTheDramaStartTheMusic because fashion and Donatella Versace. Koons to you all.”
