The whole "Britney can't bring the viewers anymore" is so dumb, if that's truth why Brit gave Ellen, Glee and other shows their best rating in years? if you're gonna troll, use some clever statements at least.
Britney Spears
Lady Gaga
Adele ▲ Rihanna ▲ Loreen
Lana Del Rey ▲ Nelly Furtado ▲ Katy Perry

We all know Britney brings in ratings. It could be her but if you look at the other shows she guested it's definitely unlikely. Ellen just got one of her most highest rated episodes in years during her premiere week. We all know how Glee, HIMYM, Will and Grace and Jimmy Kimmel's ratings were when she was there. Eventhough I could care less about the ratings, I wish the show would gain more because I think the auditions were pretty great. But seriously, talent shows are really an overused format of reality shows. It's really not that surprising.
|
Because Britney stans are always making excuses for TXF's poor ratings. In the end I don't believe that it's Britney's fault, I was just commenting on the denial of some of her stans that the show itself is flopping. Not her.

6 million? wtf? Demi's show on Disney channel had around the same numbers omg This is not good. Unless they step up the editing for the bootcamp round this show is going to continue to flop. No matter who's on it, it doesn't even make a difference. This show is overproduced as hell. It seems so fake and scripted.

The answer is no. You don't.
For all I know, the ratings would have been much worse without her.
So, try thinking before making wild statements.
|
it's not that wild of a statement, there is an obvious reason why she was chosen and given a lot of money to be a judge: the hope that her celebrity and persona would bring in a lot of viewers. The ratings have gone down from last year, and there isn't a huge viewership. If lots of people cared enough about Britney to watch the show then lots of people would be watching the show. The fact is lots of people aren't watching the show, so again: people just don't care enough about Britney anymore to watch.

I don't think that's true.
I think that people just don't care enough about X-Factor in general.

This is why the show is failing. There's nothing genuine about it.

It's still bad. Even without the competition the ratings remain the same. And tonight it's worse, they're up against big bang theory

Survivor’ premiere 25th edition overtakes ‘The X Factor’
‘Survivor’ premiere overtakes ‘The X Factor’
Mark Burnett producer of The Voice and Survivor beats Simon AGAIN Should Simon Cowell be worried?
The premiere of the 25th edition of “Survivor” was a far bigger draw Wednesday night than Cowell’s “X Factor” in the Orlando TV market.
“Survivor” drew 184,100 viewers to its scenic start in the Philippines. “The X Factor” placed second with 137,400 viewers. (“Survivor” also placed first in the 25-to-54 age group.)
And what about that “Survivor” premiere? Executive producer Mark Burnett and his colleagues still know how to deliver an exciting and personal reality contest.
Michael Skupin, a medical evacuee who returned to play, was reckless and klutzy as he kept injuring himself. “A complete mess,” a fellow player called him. Former baseball star Jeff Kent hid that he had injured his knee. “Facts of Life” star Lisa Whelchel revealed that she had lost most of her fortune. Zane was one of the zaniest players in the show’s history.
The other top shows Wednesday were a repeat of “The Middle” on ABC with 106,800 viewers, the season finale of “Big Brother” on CBS with 105,600 and USA’s “Royal Pains” with 103,300.
We’ll have the national numbers later this morning.
