Chris Brown's latest album has been labelled with a domestic abuse warning.

The singer's fifth studio album Fortune is being sold in London HMV stores with a domestic abuse disclaimer, which is thought to be the work of campaigners, reports Gigwise.

The sticker reads: "WARNING: Do not buy this album! This man beats women."

Brown was convicted of assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009.

The protest comes in the same week Brown visited domestic abuse victims at a charity festival in Los Angeles.

Brown's latest album Fortune reached number one both in the UK and US upon its release in July.

His #1's in the UK this era aren't changing. Nor is anything else. The sooner people accept this the less embarrassing it will be. Move the **** on.

Disgusting. How foul to make someone else's life uncomfortable based off of one mistake. Everyone has done horrible things in their life. I wish people would stop being so disrespectful and judgmental. It's not as if it was a regular occurrence. It happened that one time. I'm not saying what he did is OK, but he isn't alone. If you don't want to buy his **** that's your perogative but when you're taking the time out of your day to think about, feel passionate enough about and do all of this, almost 4 years later, thinking you're actually going to change anything. Chris Brown is counting his millions, polishing is awards, partying and probably long stroking Rihanna meanwhile while this pressed person is at the printing press going to every store in their area?
