"All About Tonight" is a smash, but Pixie and her label never seem to make a solid attempt at establishing her in the US. Pixie has been around since 2009 but they haven't actually pushed any singles there. The "Boys and Girls" digital single release was the most they have done. They didn't even bother with airplay or promo. Sadly, I think she will remain a very local UK artist. Asia is as worldwide as she will get at this point. It's quite frustrating, because she has the potential to become bigger in more markets. Mercury seem to always forget about Pixie. She's never their priority.
Pixie's label is the worst, half of the stuff isn't down to Pixie at all, Mercury favourite others such as Rihanna and Justin Bieber. When Pixie's album came out, I think Talk That Talk came out around the same time or something and they were promoting Rihanna so much, whereas Pixie got minimal promotion.. and they followed me at the time so I DMed them complaining and then unfollowed, oops.
But I think in the US, she's signed to Universal or Interscope? Not quite sure, but I guarantee it's all the record labels doing.

She needs to establish herself as a unique artist if she wants to have more than couple of generic hits. I think WDYTMF has a lot of US potential.

WDYTMF would've been perfect tbh. The video alone would've made enough buzz for people to talk about her. I wished she at least tried with that song tbh.

I doubt the US audience would be as scandalized/interested by the video as the UK crowd because she'd be brand new to them. The video isn't really that risque compared to most others - people just overreacted.
The song and video do **** though.
