ATRL - Single: Cassie f/ Young Jeezy

With Cassie’s Rock-A-Bye Baby mixtape on the way, it looks like we now have the first promotional single from the project, “Balcony”.

Most of you will remember the Young Jeezy assisted cut from early May when a tagged version leaked online, but now the official version has surfaced after Cassie uploaded it to streaming services like Spotify, MySpace Music, and Rdio this weekend (complete with the artwork you see above).

“Balcony” sees Cassie stepping into Noah “40″ Shebib territory, with a sensual alt-urban beat that sounds like it was plucked straight off of a Drake album. Rico Love penned the racy lyrics about public lovemaking, and Young Jeezy injects some much-needed masculine energy into the song, providing the perfect springboard for Cassie’s soft cooing to bounce off of.

Just like I said in the old thread, Young Jeezy is too big contrast for her soft voice but I like the melody and the vibe.

Don't wanna go off topic but what happened to Diddy's music career? I would expect his new album era by now but there is not even a mention of him recording new music.

This was put on iTunes last Tuesday only for a few minutes i was going to buy it but it was token down before i could I'm glad it's being put out again.
