BoA clearly ****S, but talent is only a bonus over here nowadays. Luckily, 2NE1's great as a whole.
The fact of the matter is that 2NE1 have some of the most WW hype out of any kpop act, if not the most.
They're also strong in social media, and have different appeal than BoA which is seemingly more top 40 friendly.
This is such a pointless argument though.
KII at 2NE1 being the topic of most K-Pop threads.
I mean, i refuse at the Nicole Shabalabadingdong stan trying to tell us who'll find success in the US.
Sit down and WOOO0Orship teh gods.
I don't know what Nicole Scherzinger* (stop pretending you don't know how to spell it in your attempt to be funny and if you really didn't know how to spell, educate yourself) has to do with this because I didn't mentioned her or her lack of solo success anywhere. But since you did, at least Right There charted. We'll see if your faves do.

Your wrong sis as of right now the only K-pop groups possible of breaking into the US is probably 2ne1......snsd is to basic and homogenized. they all look the same(no shade intended) and they all have the aegyo thing going. The US isn't here for them, nobody in the group stands out. There like this one big mosh of girls acting cute. Twinkle now that a whole nother story. those 3 members is all you need, cut down and those other props.
So essentially you're saying that 2NE1 can appeal to Americans because they look weird (except for Dara) and being odd is popular now? That's a bit of a stretch, but I agree that GG is boring.

CL is an amazing performer.
I like GG, but their songs are outdated and they're too robotic.
