Yes and I think the difference is vast. Adele might not not be that much of an amazing vocalist, however her voice has more personality, convey more emotions and her delivery is less boring.
No. Leona is all range, and no power, emotion or soul.

Let's not be delusional now, both have strong voices. Leona has a wider range to work with, while Adele doesn't. Both can convey great emotion, both have beautiful voices, both are consistent singers. The fact is Leona is a better vocalist.
Leona sounds like hundreds of other generic sounding female artists. Adele is very unique and her voice has much more power, depth and expression IMO. Thats why Adele is a superstar and in a league of her own. Her massive international sales are testament to this fact.
