I see why she's upset though. The song that's smashing in the US is a bonus track from her debut, not a lead single from the album coming out soon. Not the best promo for the new album.

Yeah, it's pretty crazy. I remember how surprised I was when I heard Lights back in February on a AC station but I never expected it to catch on to pop radio.

I remember when Lights was just staring to get radio airplay in the US and thought it was great. But I never expected it to smash like it has. I'm happy it did.

I don't understand is Lights (the album) not selling or something? Why would they need to put Lights on her second album if it's helping the album sell the album it's originally on? For what it is worth I don't think she needs to put off her second album it's already been two years since she released her debut, but I definitely think they should try to release Starry Eyed for the second single for Lights (the album) and then move onto Halycon in the US. While Halycon does it's thing in the UK and then they promote the first single there. She needs to make sure she isn't a 1 hit wonder here and there is too much momentum coming off of Lights in the US.

Its crazy I remember hearing this song back in 2011 on HAC radio and thought it was kinda meh and boring. This year when pop radio picked it up I started to get really into it after my fifth or so listen. Congrats to her.
