She's a global superstar and nothing more.

When listening to a Rihanna album you dont get the feeling she made it. There's nothing to attach to outside of lyrics and production done by people that aren't her. Her and her team dont even try to fake it anymore. Not saying its a requirement to write or produce your own material but who can respect an artist that sings what a team of people comes up with for her?? How exactly can you celebrate an artist of that caliber??
