Aguilera is my home-town-heroine. Talent that comes out of Pittsburgh always seemed strange to me. I have all of the albums (physically) which I bought the weeks they were released...except Bionic, because I couldn't get behind that.

ALL of that being said...P!nk will win. Even if Christina outsold her in the US (which I doubt) P!nk will sell better worldwide.

Why does everyone here try to downplay Christina's success as though she's always been a non-seller. Nothing against Pink, her last eras have been way more successful than Xtina's and most other pop girls and she's proven she's a consistent seller so I expect another great era from her. And I'm hoping Xtina has a great comeback.

I'm Not Dead outsold Back To Basics worldwide and also had bigger hits, why did you purposely ignore Misunderstood when that sold the same as Stripped did? That said yes, Christina's debut did outsell P!nk's debut. But they are more equal then you are letting on in your post right now. P!nk made up a lot of ground with her Greatest Hits and Funhouse releases which evened off the playing field by a ton.

I wasn't trying to ignore the Misunderstood era, but I was just trying to make a point that people here (on ATRL) try to make it seem as though X has always been a flop/non-seller when she has had 3 successful eras that sold well enough. Yes her greatest hits/Bionic eras have been overshadowed by other pop girls, but to neglect her initial success is just getting annoying.

I think Pink's next era will be a bigger seller, but I think both will be successful.
