I would love to see Madrid host as well, but, honestly...could you imagine what Tokyo's opening ceremony would be like? Dare I say it, it would make Beijing's opening ceremony look like something put together on the cheap and at the last minute. It would be the most visually stunning thing anyone has ever seen.
For that reason alone, I want Tokyo to host the 2020 Olympics.

Madrid, they've been campaigning since I lived there back in 09 and they keep getting snubbed. They honestly deserve it and Spain's economy desperately needs it.

I voted Tokyo, though in retrospect I do think Istanbul.
East Asia have only very recently had Beijing, and seeing as it's a worldwide games, perhaps we need to give the Middle East a chance.

Good point. But if Madrid host the olympics in 2020, It will be impossible for Barcelona to host the winter olympics in 2022 and I don't want that.
