Radio isn't the problem, I think it had the biggest update yesterday. Like Rico said, the problem is iTunes. It's getting these huge radio updates yet it's on the edge of the Top 80. It started freefalling after the second half of the first week even though it had a television premiere on E! News. The younger iTunes generation simply isn't clicking with No Doubt. I commend them for hitting all the right spots to become current, including the Teen Choice Awards (teens are who they need to be successful). As long as they don't become teenybopper, which they won't, they're too old, but remain modern, they'll eventually find digital success. I have hope Settle Down can end up being a moderate hit.

It's true, the younger generation are probably unaware of No Doubt.. like completely unaware. That could be a glaring reason why it's moving so slow. I think, if it doesn't blow up, Gold for the single and it's radio response will be enough. There seems to be material on the album that will be hits (the song she said gave her the same feeling "Hollaback Girl" did).

Plus at the same time, I can understand this type of song not being completely loveable. Though, it's my jam.

The song has had AMAZING promo.... this is Interscope after all, who promote all their biggest artists (GaGa, BEPs, Eminem, No Doubt) quite nicely.

There's a commercial on radio for the iheartradio festival that plays almost every 20 mins that has a small snippet of the song played each time.

Their album will probably do really well... it will definitely do well first week. I heard they have a bigger smash waiting called One More Summer... that won't be released until the end of summer.
