Katy Perry crowns Top Singles; Cher Lloyd breaks a record
Katy Perry leads Top Singles as "Wide Awake" ascends 2-1. It pushes 2NE1's "I Love You" down 1-3 after spending four consecutive weeks at the summit (21 spins, down 56%). One Direction's "More Than This" holds at no. 2 (28 spins, down 7%) and "One Thing" earns a large rise, zipping 15-6 (19 spins, up 6%) with Greatest Gainer honors.
Cher Lloyd's "Want U Back" breaks the record for the "biggest single-week downward movement" as it drops 8-20 (12 positions). It was previously held by Chris Brown's "Don't Wake Me Up" when it fell 11 positions in its second week on the chart.
Brown's 'Fortune' returns to the top of the albums chart, for a second week, rising 3-1. Karmin's EP, 'Hello' arrives at no. 5 while the title track blasts in as the Top Singles' hot shot debut of the week at no. 9. Maroon 5's "One More Night" re-enters at no. 16 and Rita Ora's "How We Do (Party)" starts at no. 19.
