ATRL - Poll: Has Britney's music become too cold and robotic since Toxic?

I've been saying this for ages. As much as I love Britney dearly, I feel as if the music is losing it's connection with her and is becoming "cold", especially with Femme Fatale. She's not apart of it like she used to be.

I had no problem with the sound in Blackout though. It was an amazing album and I love Femme Fatale, but I wish that they took a less generic route with the sound and vision for the album.

I wouldn't even say it was since Toxic she had the robotic sound. She had Blackout, and then Circus - which wasn't robotic in the slightest. It's just been Femme Fatale really, Blackout doesn't sound robotic to me, it sounds processed but still more natural than Femme Fatale.

IMO people seem to respond better when she releases more pure pop , human, bubbly albums and thats why "Circus" had better album sales than "Backout" and "FF". She definately does better when she is more pop.

when she is more like electropop / dance her sales struggle. (Blackout & Femme fatale).

Even though I prefer her "Blackout" music, Strategically the smartest idea is her next album should be more pop, organic or human.

No. The only reason why Circus sold more was because of the comeback hype and the promotion she did. If Britney actually promoted during the Blackout era or FF era, the two albums would probably have the same amount of sales as Circus.
