I agree. Yeah! was also the 2nd biggest song of the decade I think, and it kick-started the crunk trend (although there were a couple of crunk hits just before to be fair). Also, arguably, crunk is one of the things that led to the re-popularization of electropop in the charts which we have today.
I don't really think it kicked started crunk...he just got the most success from it
