I can't believe they didn't nominate the "Criminal" video for at least one award.
Otherwise, decent nominations  I like all of the Video of the Year nominations, it'll be hard for me to pick which one I want to win.

Oh **** off, you know damn well Def Jam got tired of Rihanna being ignored for years, so they decided to invest on the VMA's this year. Katy's videos have always been nominated, and Wide Awake is bigger/better then TOTGA.

Very good nominations, I am verry happy for M.I.A.  Bad Girls video was really the best.
Lana deserved new artist nom over 1D or The Wanted for sure.
Best male video noms are very messy and LYLALS getting a nomination is epic fail. The rest of nominations are great.
