When I first watched, I thought she did horrible, but looking back, I don't think she did such a horrible job, considering the circumstances.

Then... I wasn't a fan of it BUT I understood that she was in pain (emotionally) and could barely sing. I know the feeling.

I looked at the footage like a year later and realized that she didn't sound that bad lol.

It got a bit better towards the end, but for her standards it was a 3/10.

But you can hear the sadness and hurt in her voice...so it makes up for it

She sounded good to me,her voice broke a couple of times,but she was resonant and in good voice. you could tell she hesitated when she came out,her voice cracked when she laid eyes on the casket.

No. She fumbled on the first line, but the rest was fine. It wasn't 1993 quality, but it was far from bad. I always thought the reaction was so over the top. People praise Xtina performances with worse vocals.
