Pretty much. I say this as a Filipino, the media in that country really loves to take Western things and do absolutely nothing with it. This setup gives me looks like a drag show (without any of the humor or fun) meets a cheap American Idol meets a tacky sweet 16. She has decent pipes but it feels no different than watching some basic girl oversing on some youtube cover.
