It was obvious that TDKR won't beat avengers evn if the shooting didn't happen

The avengers was more family friendly and light hearted plus it was 3D

Same, but in Imax this time.

I dunno, I just can't really relate to the people who are scared of seeing it now. More than likely it's because I saw the midnight premiere and thus have no idea how a person who hasn't seen it yet's thinking would be right now, but it seems a bit ridiculous to be that scared. Like what are the chances, especially given the hightened security?

That's still rather amazing and more given the circumstances. And for some reason,I believe this will have more leg because those avoiding may eventually succumb to watching it later. It's just that big of a movie that simply cannot be missed.

As I said before. It was impossible to break The Avengers record just for the fact the Avangers had 3-D sales.

It wasn't going to beat Avengers but this was tracking over 180 so the massacre has obviously impacted business.
