why are everyone trying to bash selena, it's her birtdhay, give her a break btw, if u want to know the successful one, you just have look up for receipts in the internet
to answer the question, in the US KISS & Tell sold 864,135 copies with a platinum top 30 while CBT sold like 337k with a platinum top 10, i think it's not fair to compare tours since miley performed in arenas while selena jusst performed in small places in that era so idk about worlwide tho
Selena Gomez - Demi Lovato - Kelly Clarkson - Bridgit Mendler - Hilary Duff

Can't Be Tamed didn't have the best longevity, but it spent 10 weeks on the BB Hot 100, a little over 2 months. Besides, going top ten isn't easy, and especially for the fifth time is impressive on its own, regardless of longevity.
Plus, singles aren't the only thing that go into what era is 'more successful'. Tour, impact, and album sales count too.

Kiss & Tell sold 864,135 in America & over a million worldwide and had a Platinum single.
Can't Be Tamed sold 337,000 in America & like 700k worldwide.
Enough said.

How can you speak for "everyone" or "nobody"?

I never said Kiss & Tell was more succesful all around. Obviously, Kiss & Tell did much better in the US. In both single and album sales. Selena did small venues to get her name out there and Miley didn't even tour the US. So touring in the US shouldn't even be included. Therefor, without a doubt, Selena did better in the US.
Worldwide tho, Can't Be Tamed did better.
But comparing a debut album by a Disney star with a 3rd (4th if you count TTOOL) album by an ex-Disney star is a bit unfair. If it were WTSGD and CBT that would've been a whole different story.

Because 'Who Owns My Heart' wasn't a US single.
And again Miley with a flop era sold more WW than Selena so what's the point of this? WW > US
WW sales: Miley
Tour: Miley
Impact: Miley

WaiT, considering that WOMH wasn't even released in the US, I wouldn't expect anybody to know of it.

Kiss & Tell.
In addition, "Naturally" beats all but one song in Miley's discography, and that's not even Selena's best song.
