Airplay Update
Carrie's domination that began with the release of Good Girl is finally coming to a close. Blown Away is still one of my favourite songs (and expect it to be a contender for #1 on my chart coming out on Friday) but it losing its 'play me every 5 freakin' seconds' status. Carrie isn't absent from the airplay chart though, she'll still be around for a long time and will probably reclaim the artist and songs #1s in a little bit.

Not much happens in the top ten this week. P!nk stays on top and Carrie stays just below her, waiting for her next chance to steal #1 back. I wouldn't expect to see Carrie off the top spot for any more than two weeks . Only one song leaves and one song enters the top ten. Emeli Sande's My Kind of Love jumps 12-9 after a massive 26 spot leap the week before. In order for her to enter, Maroon 5's former 2 week #2 hit Payphone leaves, falling 8-13.
Most songs have small jumps as more than half the chart is bulleted and only a few songs are falling out. This is why #1 material songs like Want U Back, The A Team, My Kind of Love, One More Night, 50 Ways to Say Goodbye, Never Close Our Eyes, Brokenhearted and a few others are struggling to move up. With so many great songs right now, many are peaking much lower than deserved. For example, so far Everybody Talks has peaked at #33. It's definitely a top 20 worthy song.
The only debut this week is at the very bottom of the chart. Lana Del Rey's National Anthem gets a debut after 2 weeks sitting in bubbling under land. I'm not expecting her to go top 10, or maybe not even top 20, but who knows? Falling off is Jessie J feat. David Guetta - Laserlight 13 WEEKS, PK 14, 745 POINTS
I've had kind of a quiet week, other than my first two shifts. After being at the till, I realized people are very rude and some are just weird. I do like my first job though and I already have 6 days in a row off. Til next week.

The top 2 is where all the drama is at ready to snatch it up!
Come on The A Team, One More Night, My Kind of Love, Wide Awake, 50 Ways to Say Goodbye, Nex To Me, Wanted You More & more!
It’s Time is steady upward while Burn it down is still under the chart bubbling.
At least National Anthem is new to the chart. That’s another for that song.

I posted this a little late cause I had a pretty busy week this week. Not much happens in the top 10 except for #10 Hunter Hayes' Wanted finding a new peak just inside the top 10 and former 10 week #1 Good Girl falling 10-12 after spending 19 weeks in the top 10. P!nk barely hangs on to #1 this week as Carrie Underwood's Blown Away looks to return to the top spot for another week. The music video premiere tomorrow will also help the song increase its #1 streak from 6 weeks. Can it pass Good Girl's ten week #1 record? We'll see soon
So many songs are moving up fast still with none peaking at the moment. Songs by Train, David Guetta/Sia, Marina and the Diamonds, Emeli Sande, Matchbox Twenty and Owl City/Carly Rae Jepsen are all suffering from this and post small gains or static positions. Debuting this week are No Doubt's Settle Down and Hedley's Kiss You Inside Out. Settle Down is a surprising entry to me. I was never a huge No Doubt fan before, but this song marks a strong comeback for the group. Hedley's song is just new to me and will rise normally.
Expect Fastest Girl in Town and Pontoon to enter next week as both songs are growing on me quickly.
I'll accept any music suggestions as debuts are kind of lacking right now! Have a great week!
