But this is obviously a joke. Besides Ke$ha could get away with it because her whole shtick is goofy and silly and the music isn't serious.
Born This Way and Gaga herself are the complete opposite. It was serious and set up to be the album of our generation, so when she drops a cover like that...  The fact that she tried to give it meaning too by saying that it's a metaphor for the journey to album takes you on...
