Listening to it more than a decade later, it seems Aaliyah/Timbo were always ahead of the curve. She still kept that smooth r&b/hip hop swagger that she was known for but started to add other elements in making it Urban Pop. Sadly, she lost her life before she could really reach her full musical potential because I honestly believe this album was just going to be the beginning for her.

My favorite songs: We Need A Resolution, More Than A Woman, Never No More, Extra Smooth, I Refuse, I Care 4 U, Loose Rap, U Got Nerve, It's Whatever, and What If.

One of the best albums of all time. I still listen to it regularly. Aaliyah was such a special performer and I have no doubt in my mind that if she had lived she would now be dominating both the music and film industry.

It's in my top 5 favorite albums. It's one of the best contemporary albums of the century. My faves: Rock The Boat, Loose Rap, I Care 4 U, What If, Mor Than A Woman, We Need a Resolution, and Never No More. All the songs are amazing.

This album had such a big impact on me. This is the only album of hers I connected with fully. Her first two sound dated but this still sounds so fresh.
