Lyrically, it's pretty cringe worthy even for Green Day. As a power pop song though, you can't find one much catchier.
It has me intrigued about their albums coming up. This seems to be a much more back to basics approach than their last couple of efforts.

I actually like this. It's not really the Green Day that we were used to but the song is really good. I hope the other two albums would have different songs from this one tho. I want variety since they are releasing three albums.
But good job Green Day. This one will surely hype up the album.
This song sounds kinda boring, at least too boring to be a lead single.
And the whole "oh love" part, what other song of theirs sounds exactly like it? I know there's at least one...
