It doesn't hurt; it's just gross and yucky. You do feel the pressure of the dentist yanking it out, but you shouldn't feel pain. After that, your gums are gonna be bleeding - you have to press a gauze on it for like 1 hour and change it. Gross.
Last time one of mine was removed, it a rare case my dentist has hardly seen. He'd only had 4 cases of a fused wisdom tooth in like, 15 years of practice. Needles to say,that one was quite traumatic.

The first day is the worst. You mouth will be numb for a couple of hours, so no pain. There will be a lot of gauze changing, ice, and blood. It's gross but that is about it. Make sure to STAY ON TOP OF YOUR PAIN MEDICATION for the first few days. I am on percocet and it's kept it 100% manageable.

Eat cold and soft things. Do not suck on anything or spit (this can cause you to get a dry socket). Also you won't be able to ejaculate due the medication they put you on.

I just got mine out on Thursday.

Also, try not to out yourself under the influence of the initial medication. When I woke up apparently I was signing lines from Robyn's Konichiwa Bitches.

That's not relative to that but I had my four centre-up teeth removed. Without medication of any sort. When I was 3 years old

Well I was drugged up & asleep the whole time. They stuck a little needle in my arm (which was painless) & put a thing on my face so the drug could be administered. I feel asleep really fast & felt woozy when I woke up. But I didn't see or feel anything doing the actual removal process.

I just remember waking up, getting wheeled out to my car because of the wooziness & being home. The recovery is truly the hardest part. The first day is hard because the drug they gave me to sleep during the procedure makes you feel sick for 24 hours. Luckily I only threw up once. And your face might swell a little.

Got em removed a few years ago. The procedure was painless as I was high as a kite. And I heavily medicated myself following so I never really felt sick or pain or anything. Kinda numb and sluggish. Lost like 10 pounds, which was awesome.

And reading some of these posts....thank GOD I'm Canadian. Y'all have to pay for anesthetics?! What a mess.

Mine have been slowly coming in for years, and every couple of months they hurt like a bitch. But my dentist said it's okay as long as they don't hurt all the time.

I got my wisdom teeth removed back in 2010. Everyone was so dramatic, telling me I would look like a hamster and that I would be reduced to drink soup for days, which was a bunch of ******** come to think of it because a few hours after the "procedure" I was already eating bags of chips!

Such a weird ****ing experience.

I don't even recall even sleeping. It was as if they set me up with the IV and right after I was being taken to recovery.

My mouth is frozen as ****. The bleeding seems to have stopped.

I have to get mine removed cause my bottom two are impacted. Ugh, it'll be during school too and I'll have to go to school and GOD KILL ME NOW
