How is madonna obsessed with lady gaga? since the beginning of the year, every talk show host or news journalist has asked madonna what she thinks about lady gaga, it's not like madonna brought up lady gaga out of nowhere and it's not madonna's fault lady gaga copied her song. I don't think Madonna is obsessed. She's just being strategic by capitalizing off the comparisons to Lady Gaga. It generates attention and money for her.

"MDNA" was primarily released to give Madonna a reason to tour, because that's where the major money is at.

False. Before any interview a publicist goes over a list of things that can be asked and discussed and things they the interviewer cannot say. She didn't HAVE to talk about anyone. She knew it would get the people talking and attention in her direction. She knows the game. And she thought that by saying and doing these shady things she would get support since we all know it is "cute" to diss Lady Gaga. Unfortunately her plan didn't quite go as expected.

Not all the time, it's obvious that every news report would ask her about gaga since gaga is inspired by her and ripped off her song express yourself. News reporters are only prohibited from asking very personal questions, i fail to see how madonna is obsessed with lady gaga, you must be delusional.

Are you forgetting about "Lady Who?" which started all the feud rumors to begin with? She certainly didn't have to answer to a screaming fan at the premiere of her movie.

Also, all questions at an interview are pre-screened and usually looked over not only by the artist, but the manager and publicist, which all had to agree that her talking about it would be good for publicity. And EVEN if it wasn't pre-screened, her team could have had that part edited out.

That said, she has consistently brought her up throughout the era, even performing her song on tour. If that's not obsession, I don't know what is.

If there's anything Gaga's obsessed with, it's pop culture and the many artist she has been inspired by.
