Lately, I do not have much to talk about but I thought I'd make a blog just in case I wanted to share something.
Go Nick, Johnny/Omega, and especially TC!

And go you.
You'll think of something, trust me. Already, i've posted three blogs. I mean, come on. It's all a matter of finding something to say and then comitting it to the blog.
Song of the Moment
Volbeat - The Hangman's Body Count
I welcome the rain
And as you walk the final top
They will start to dark my past

Orangenial Music - 012107
I already mentioned this in my signature but I thought I would use this to actually post legal links to those that I can.
Bunny - My Box in a Box
Source: Television (for the file, myboxinabox.typepad.com/)
Sound/Lyrics: Mellow / Comedy.
A joke in response to the SNL Digital Short: A Special Box.
Kind Of Girl - Poetry Boy
Source: Last.FM
Sound/Lyrics: Mellow / "sing me some poetry and lyrics of love"
Band, with leading female vocalist, from Denmark.
Six others that have randomly been stuck in my head in some form this week:
There is something about these songs... darn them.
Bloc Party - I Still Remember
- I mostly keep seeing the video at random and then the song plays. I actually enjoyed the video.
The Chalets – Love Punch
- Thanks to facebook/itunes, I recently got into this. I blame my lack of playing for the delay.
Kaiser Chiefs – Ruby
- There has been enough said about this song by others and I, for the most part, agree with them.
Justin Timberlake feat. Three 6 Mafia, Timbaland- Chop Me Up
- I have so much fun singing to this song. It amuses me greatly.
Modest Mouse– Dashboard
- This is different... I am not sure how I feel about it, other than it being stuck in my head at times.
P.O.S. feat. Slug - Bleeding Hearts Club (MPLS Chapter)
- This has a repetitive beat that seems appropiate for clapping, or step dancing to, which makes it so catchy.
I might do this weekly. I am not too sure. I do not listen to that much music on my own but we shall see.

Orangenial Music - 012707
Another week of songs that interest me or I wish to mention!
Northern State - Away Away
Source: Half Hour Of Power of altcast
I have played this song a lot. I love the child-like feel to the chorus and I love how you can move to the overall song.
Tokyo Police Club - Citizens of Tomorrow
Source: Pitchfork Media / Sort of television?
I just casually checked out this song only to realize once again repetitive beats would get to me. Not to mention, a day later, I realized I had enjoyed another song by them!
Six others that I feel like mentioning (in addition to the last six):
There is something about these songs... darn them.
Beck vs. Pharrell - Frontin' On Debra
- This has become one of my favorite mash-ups!
Bitter:Sweet - Dirty Laundry
- Not a new song but their random appearance on my play list made me interested in this again.
Jason Mraz - The Beauty In Ugly
- I know this is new (it was made specifically for an Ugly Betty "Be Ugly '07" campaign) but I cannot go without mentioning it!
The Lovemakers - Fashion
- It is the same case as Bitter:Sweet, as well as amusing lyrics.
Phantom Planet - Big Brat
- I am not sure why I randomly remembered this song but it has been stuck in my head all week.
Rich Boy f/ Polow Da Don - Throw Some D's
- What a crazy, catchy song that the radio cannot stop playing! It is just recently it has been getting stuck in my head.
I am so not sure how long this will last.

Orangenial Music - 020307
A random note: I hate randomly being obsessed with Facebook.
The Friendly Indians - I Know You Know
Source: Psych theme song
- For some reason I started to really enjoy the theme this season, so I ended up getting it. The chorus is so catchy and I think the lyrics work pretty well.
Six songs that I feel like mentioning (in addition to the previous songs):
There is something about these songs... darn them.
Any popular song with Akon (Smack That, Sweet Escape, and I Wanna [Love] You)
- These songs have just became inside jokes between my friends, especially the beginning to I Wanna [Love] You. Darn radio, I am a soul survivor!
Backstreet Boys - I Want It That Way
- After the Psych-Out and my friends always putting Backstreet Boys/'N sync on, this had to get on the list eventually. Expect more Backstreet Boys/'N sync songs if this list thing continues.
Cansei De Ser Sexy - Alala
- This was one of my catchy songs a while ago but recent random play gets it on the list.
Lily Allen - Nan, You're A Window Shopper
- Not sure why it was this week that the song finally hit me, other than me finding this song just recently...
Peter Bjorn And John - Young Folks
- The video/song starts off so cute! They were also on Conan! I love the feel of this song and the lyrics seem sweet.
Stefy - Orange County
- After randomly hearing Stefy again, I remembered their performance for this song when they aired the making of the Hey, School Boy video. It was just recently that I started focusing on the lyrics.
That is all, folks!

Orangenial Music - 021107 (almost female edition)
Another edition of songs that I find worth mentioning!
Brought to you by... the various Last.FM updates!
Menomana - Wet and Rusting
Source: Stereogum
- I decided to just check them out for the heck of it and once playing this song, I couldn't get it out of my head. The beginning and then the change of tempo as the song goes on... I like it.
Fountains of Wayne - Someone To Love (asx, listen only)
Source: Stereogum
- I loved Stacy's Mom and found Hey Juliet quite catchy... figures I would get hooked on this clip. I cannot stop playing the clip!!#~$!@
Six songs that I feel like mentioning (in addition to the previous songs):
There is something about these songs... darn them.
Hilary Duff - With Love
- Admittedly, in addition to the catchy music, I started liking the lyrics too. I recently got the high quality of this so that might explain it.
M.I.A. - Bird Flu
- Not as good as stuff from her first album but damn catchy. It is weird finding her catchy...
El Perro Del Mar - God Knows (You Gotta Give To Get)
- Such an calming video, voice, and background melody!
Lily Allen - Alfie
- Cute and memorable video has me continuing to ***** Lily Allen two weeks in a row. I think the puppet has a cute/creepy look going but overall it was a sweet video and definitely one to make me like the song even more.
Clarissa and the Straightjackets - Walkin' In The Cemetery
- I recently went on a Sabrina craze, mostly to find The Funky Song and I ended up finding Melissa Joan Hart's not-so-serious album for Clarissa Explains It All. She actually sang on each track! This song has a very childish but also a/n cool/eerie feel to it. Then again, it was made in the '90s...
Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend
- This was so not what I expected after hearing "Keep Holding On," but it works. It's still catchy but I keep imagining some sort of competition show playing this... mostly because I know this makes me want to do some weird dance with my feet and hands coordinated.
Wow. If it was not for the two linked songs, it would be a list of female songs!
I am surprised I survived four posts doing this.

Reason: typing errors, (removed "brings me" from "brings me has me" in Lily's description & removed double "has" from Clarissa's desc.)

The video for "Alfie" is freaking awesome. I also like "Bird Flu" a bit. The rest, I haven't heard(in the case of Duff, will probably never hear), but hey, 2/6 ain't bad.
Song of the Moment
Volbeat - The Hangman's Body Count
I welcome the rain
And as you walk the final top
They will start to dark my past
Nothing counting in this world
See the valley turn to darkness on your way
