At this point, I'm mainly annoyed that Breathe was the first of Delilah's songs to leave, but oh well. Perfect Stranger could have hung on a bit longer as well. Ellie needs to lose a bunch of songs and soon.
I'm glad Rebecca did pretty well, even though it didn't seem it since she was kicked off so quickly. I like her album a lot. And I will be very surprised if the, great albeit overrated, Witches' Brew doesn't win.

Great eliminations, sans You're the One... It should have gotten to the top10.

I used to be 100% certain this was my least-favorite Katy single, but just the other day I was singing it in the shower It's pretty catchy, and a lot more in the pop style than some of her other singles. It's sorta corny in a way ("these days can't find a man to please me, their lines are far too cheesy"), but it's all in good fun. My favorite line is "I love a bad boy mentality, but I don't want to be visiting no jail." Something about it makes me laugh! The song was the fourth single from Katy's album, and it peaked at #25, her first main single to peak out of the Top 10.

Guys, nothing Ellie or Emeli or Charli or any other person whose name ends in an 'ee' sound has ever done is as good as that song. I mean, come on now. At least 7 or 8 places too low.

I adore this song It's not part of my Katy trinity (Broken Record, Katy on a Mission, Witches' Brew), but it's definitely my fourth, so I guess it's okay for me that it finished 4th among Katy's songs. I just wish it had been in the Top 10. I was so shocked to learn that this is Katy's highest-charting single at #4, beating out Katy on a Mission, which peaked at #5. I adore the line "While some others at the cloakroom and some others out the door, we gon keep on going in the middle of the floor". I think I may be able to stan for this song when I figure out Ms. Dynamite's parts.

Ellie now has just two songs remaining with the elimination of "Starry Eyed". This single is Ellie's second-best charting single at #4. It's the highest-charting if you don't count that Elton cover It's the only single that went Top 10 from her debut album, and I guess I could see why. It's the most poppy, with a catchy chorus and really fast pace. Once again, though, her lyrics don't make much sense to me.

no. no. no. no. no. no. NO.
Lights On and Easy Please Me are easily two of the best songs in this rate. I don't know if half of you voted in a drug induced haze or just put random numbers down but there is just no excuse for this.
I would say I'm out but I need to be here when Witches Brew rightfully snatches the #1.

Good to see Ellie losing one. I'm disappointed Lights On didn't hold on longer, but her other songs are good as well. I remember thinking that Easy Please Me would be pretty low rated for me and then I listened to it again for this rate and I was like "whoa I don't remember this being so good."

Won't be missing Starry Eyed.
The Writer is so close to the top 10 though. If it peaks at #11 I'm protesting this rate.

Are we actually going to have songs by Ellie Goulding in the top 10?

Sorry Jdella, I know how much you love this one After two eliminations in a row, Ellie is down to just one song! I quite like this song. Of course, it's sappy. But it's so pretty, as well. It peaked at #19 in the UK, so all of Ellie's Top 20 UK singles are now out! Of course, her US Top 10 single, "Lights", is still in the game.

For the second day in a row, Charli has the last eliminated song! I really, really like this one. Maybe I should have upped my 9.5 to a 10. She does such a good job of capturing the sound of the '80s in this track. I find myself singing the chorus a lot, even if I haven't heard the song that day. "Do you remember what I said that first time we met? Stay away, why couldn't you stay away?" It's a song about knowing that someone is bad for you, but you fall in love with them away and, inevitably, they **** you over. We've all been there!! This song won a tiebreaker with "The Writer" by having more 10s.

Denying Katy's best singles the Top 10.
Stay Away out of the Top 10 (what kind of pun, though).
Both situations are laughable.

Yaas. Emeli slaying.
Glad to see Katy getting some punching and Ellie's songs deserved to go out now as well. The Writer has been severely overrated in this rate...
