I always knew the concept for the video as Mark Romanecks(sp). Not Jan's or MJ. I knew that Janet picked the song though.

I know this video is older than some of you, so you had to be around back then. For 1995 this video is great. It still looks good 17 yrs later.

N I can't believe people in here are dissing MJs voice when their faves can barley sing in key. GTFOH!!!

Nope. Janet stated on two separate occasions that her and MJ were bumping heads on the concept. Ultimately he left it up to Janet to come up with the concept and pick the director.

Janet has always said she picked the director and the music for the song( one of the songs later became Runaway).
NEVER has she said the the concept was hers. It was always Marks. That's why she had to fight for a dance scene. If it was her idea, why wouldn't she include one to begin with???

Unfortunately not every pop singer can be blessed with Katy's and Rihanna's always in tune, perfectly sublime vocals.

Anyway, as far as MJ vids go, this isn't even in my top 5. The song has grown on me a lot, though.
