Hmm, Katy only had one single not hit the top 10. and that was a ballad.
If Ke$ha continues releasing electro/pop non-risky songs, she may have a longer streak.
I mean she refused to release the harold song because of her precious 6 top 10 streak
but anyways, I think Katy has a far better chance. Her next era is bound to spawn at least 2 more top 10's consecutively. and i don't see Ke$has next era getting 5 consecutive top 10's. unless she cuts it short at 2 or 3

Thats eleven as a dual single or double A-side counts as one entry, but Mariah's streak isn't even the longest. Madonna and Janet Jackson both had 17 consecutive top ten singles (I don't count "The Best Things in Life are Free" as I prefer lead artist billing for any chart records).

Billboard reported Mariah's streak as eleven in several articles during Gaga's streak, so I'm assuming the reason is combination of dual singles into one technical chart entity.
