If this is true, then every new experience, everything you read or see or hear, is just a memory - you don't recognize it because at time A, you did not know what would happen at time B, so reliving time A as it truly was, you would not "remember" time B until it also reoccurs. It's not like "hey, I remember this" it's like a literal redo with a clean slate but that has already been planned out for you.

Which could explain déjà vu; perhaps death is not a completely immediate process, and your "reliving" occurs in a state of minimal consciousness. Déjà vu could be your dying brain coming close to consciousness again but failing. People who nearly die talk about their life flashing before their eyes - perhaps similar occurances happen after clinical death and the rare case of someone spontaneously "coming back to life" after technically dying was déjà vu in their reliving of life that happened to break into consciousness rather than failing.

Does that make any sense?

I mean, really now. The human brain cannot remember every single little thing we do in our lives. Ten years from now, my brain is not going to remember typing the sentence "The human brain cannot remember every single little thing we do in our lives" into a text box on ATRL.net. Such things part of our short-term memory that our brain does away with after a while so that it can replace it with newer memories.

Not to mention, there is absolutely no way one can scientifically come to the conclusion that when you die, your whole life plays out in your brain for 7 minutes. Even if brain activity was found in people declared dead, even if an MRI showed brain activity in the lobe of the brain that controls memory — there's no way a scientist could find out what memories were being reopened. And if it is somehow true, why is this 7 minutes taking so damn long?
